To add my thoughts on this...I first learned to axle from watching Dodd's Flight School II (or, what I thought was an axle). I was able to axle most of my kites, some with great difficulty. After watching FS III, I realized that I was axleing in the opposite direction from the way Dodd usually axles- with the kite on the left, I was popping with my right (the "inside" hand). In playing, I was able to get my Stranger to do a double axle by using what I thought was the wrong hand (popping with the right on the *right* edge of the window), and thought that 2 spins were nice, but it really wasn't a axle... In summary, I found the stall and the push with the popping hand as a setup is very helpful, but turning in the "easier" direction did the trick for me (that and buying two tapes). Precision is interesting, exacting, and challenging- tricks are *FUN*. Frank (the other one, not nasty at all) = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =
