Check a kite shop Wi> near you or try calling 1-800-99-ROTOR.. I have a Gyro-Kite...paid $20 for it even though it's really worth no more than a couple of bucks. I've actually had it flying for from 5 to as long as 10 whole seconds at a time too...even got it to an altitude of nearly 15 feet...probably because what the instructions say is true...that you need a constant velocity wind consistently from one direction...which means that if you're lucky enough to have access to a wind tunnel, the Gyro-Kite should fly perfectly...otherwise, it's just C R A P...a real RIP- OFF...both in price and performance! ___ Blue Wave/QWK v2.12 = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = Date: Fri, 26 Jan 1996 06:11:14 -1000 From: pdjnjvt@knoware.nl (Peter de jong) Message-Id: <4eaugh$1ot@news.knoware.nl> Organization: Knoware Internet Subject: Re: Autogyro Kites? summit@mci.newscorps.com (The Kid) wrote: >Has anyone seen a autogyro kite? Brief description of a autogyro, manufactured by Captive Flight Devices of Abington Pensylvania in the late '30s. On page 121 you aso find a pic. Maybe you can still find it in the local library.
