I did not find any errors in the plans in his book. The kite was pretty simple to make. Send me email if you have any questions about it. Oh I used 1/4" dowels to frame mine (that way I could use modeled dihedrals) (Red). Wind range of mine is about 3-15mph. Date: Wed, 13 Sep 95 08:59:00 PDT It flies great, I made a roller from that book last spring, it's a great light to medium wind flier but needs to come down once the wind is over 15 to 18 MPH. This was only my second sewn ripstop kite. The only suggestion I have is to take a close look at the spar pockets on the lower sail, mine work, but I think there's got to be a better way. Any Suggestions? Built two of these at Junction this year. They fly very well in both good winds and light winds. The ones I built were sewless. We glued the edges with 3m tape glue. actually stronger than thread. The class was taught by Sam Houston. We used Icrarex for the skins. -- Harisburgr (harisburgr@aol.com) wrote: : I'm considering making a kite (first in YEARS), and am considering the : Roller (plans found in Max Eden's book).
