Feel free to stop in and offer any thoughts or ideas. Also, the Events area at: http://www.comunlimited.com/connectikiters/events.html is fast becoming one of the most comprehensive list of world-wide kiting events. If you know of an event that is not listed in this area, send the info on down. We will be put on the schedule. If you have a homepage or email contact for the event, a link will be provided. We want this area to be the best list on the net. If it's a fun-fly or a world-wide competition, we want to know about it. Send it to me or: mailto:connecitkiters@comunlimited.com Feel the Wind, --Tim tim@comunlimited.com P.O. (Between Fall River & New Bedford) This is both a dual line and single line event and well worth being a part of. For more information e-mail to Here is my list of other Northest U.S. events. Go there June 7-9 - and that not only if you are stunt kite pilot. Reasons: i) It is on the campus of University of Rhode Island, thus the logistic is very good. ii) There will be a single line festival in parallel with some interesting things going on. iii) Workshops on small parafoils (by last years AKA Grand Champion Stretch Tucker), Fighter kites (I will try my best here), and a special workshop of a well known kite maker (several wins at AKA...including last year - I promised not to post his name). iv) NAK Fighter Kite Challenge. v) Rokkau battles. vi) Some of this years Smithsonian winning kites. vii) Last chance to get a Black Orchid Fighter in the auction (or by other means to promote a good cause) from me. I decided NOT to make kitemaking a living and rather stick with science ;-). I will be leaving direction Puerto Rico in August. Happy Kiting and see you at BASKC!
