I have a chance to pick up a Skyburner Ultralight for a great price, but I've never flown one. I have flown a Pro Dancer and liked it a lot. I want a precision kite for low wind conditions, with good stalling and spinning ability. I checked out Marty's review in the faq, but it's a bit sketchy about flying capabilities. Do any of you own one of these kites? Any comments on performance would be appreciated. Cheers, George ============================== George W. George, My name is Dan and I have been flying skyburner kites for 4 years. The choice of the sky 2 ul I feel is the best ul out there. If you do get one, Try to get it with a beman # 13 frame, The ones that john builds at skyburner for the general public are framed in beaman 14 The kite will fly in a very low wind. There has been talk of ul flying and wind speeds, I will say that the sky burner will fly first on a no wind I set my bridles about a half inch up from the black mark. skyburner is soon going to change the black mark. But if you get on I will measure the bridle setting that I use and you can try that as a starting point. The kite tracks very straigh, does axles very well, and does the back float also, on the back float it likes a littes extra wind. i have just a little trouble on the floats, but if you are good at that , the kite will responde. Iam doing a new trick with the skyburner ul and reg thats all together new, also if you a a experienced flyer I will explain that one also. I fly the ul in compition with my pair flier, we have crashed our kites and have not broken any of the lite rods. There is no oversteer in the kite unless you really try to put it in. I haave flown in 8 mph and the kite holds together fine. To compare it to the pro dancer, myself ive had trouble getting the kite ( pro dancer ) to equal the flying that the sky 2 reg and ul do. dCould be me. Hope this helps. dan ; - ) = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =
