I wonder who will be here this year? Anyone made plans so far? Hello Rolf! There are two American groups planned so far. Scott Skinner (and family), Betty Street, and Bill Lockhart will be there and assisting with kitemaking workshops. Scott, as you know, is from Colorado and leads the Drachen Foundation. Bill and Betty are well know kite makers from Texas. Bob Umbowers, Charmayne Cornell, and Sam Houston will be coming >From Washington State. Bob and Charmayne have don some traveling, including China, Japan, and most recently, Berck France. This is their first trip to Fano. I *may* be coming as well. I'll decide at the last moment when I see what happens to air ticket prices. It's quite expensive this year and I already have a lot of travel planned. There may be other Americans as well, but I haven't heard confirmations. Have fun! -- * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Gomberg Kite Productions, International Used 252 Flowform for sale: $550 = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = From: andrew@tug.com (Andrew Beattie) Subject: Re: Any Americans going to Fanoe this year? Kitemaking workshops? I've been to Fano twice before and seen no sign of this sort of thing. Is it new this year or have I been oblivious to what's going on around me again?
