Never heard of it. I think you might have missed the full subject line. The AKA offical publication is "Kiting" magazine. And yes you have to be a member to receive this publication. I fly both Rev I and II and I'm considering a 1.5. I love the dead on precision of my II, I like the grace of the I, how does the 1.5 perform? I've heard some say "the speed of the II with the control of the I" yet the times I've flown the 1.5 (all of 2 times) I didn't get that impression. Granted, the times I've flown the 1.5 the control handles had attached lines with adjustment knots tied out for many inches. The braking was, well not to good and it didn't fly like either the I or II. I do realize that it WAS more than likely the handle setup that caused the odd feel. Can any of you offer an evaluation of a factory fresh, lines clipped to the handles, critique of the Rev 1.5? Can any of you offer an evaluation of a factory fresh, >lines clipped to the handles, critique of the Rev 1.5? I have alot of Rev I & II experience, and tried the Rev I I/II (1.5) a couple weks ago. A NEW kite flyer was setting up his FIRST stunt kite ever...you guessed it , a 1.5. He had the sticks on the front of course, and the lines all wrapped up when I found him. He said there was a video in the bag but hadn't watched it yet. ( my kinda guy :) ) I got it hummin' for him ( and for ME) and must say , factory settings were right ON. I LOVED this blend of the qualities you expect in the rev, at a pace that is satisfying. I hated to put it down. I finished by acting out the video as I remember Mr. Hadziki doing it, and wished him G'winds. I think if the little knotty strings on the handles were needed, they would have been included on the handles. I tried adjusters for a while, and concluded they wern't helping any. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ STEVE IRBY sirby@nwlink.com (206)930-8350 Seattle, Washington U.S.A.
