(1-800-827-6364) Subject: AKA Founder I recently posted concerning Bob Ingraham and his diagnosis of terminal liver cancer. Bob has been given only 6 months to a year. Many have expressed concern and sympathy. The problem is that they have expressed those feelings to me. I am not sick. Bob is. Tell Bob. He needs to hear from all of you. I quote from his recent letter... "Guess I overestimated the love most members had for me. Haven't heard a word from any of the original members ... Oh well, I guess I am just a bitter old man. "Whatever, for your information, I am no better of course and losing ground every day. Just happened to feel enough good today to do a little writing. Now at 112 lbs and holding. "Had to turn down an order for two deltas this week. Nearly broke my heart to send the $110 check back." Bob deserves to hear from all of us. Just pick up the phone and call him. Don't worry about what to talk about. Talk about kites. Tell him what is going on with you. Tell him how much he means to all of us. Let this wonderful man that we all care about him and hold him close in our hearts. Order the last copy of Kite Tales (Nov. 79) Bob published. He asks only $5 plus shipping. If you wish to pay $50, that would be cool. Dying from cancer is very expensive and Bob & Hazel live on a fixed income. You can help. Straight to the man. No accounts, no administrators. Please do not wallow in self-centered discomfort. I know dying people scare us. Think of Bob, not yourself. Lift a kite into the sky and remember this nice man who started gathering kiters together 30 years ago. Please do something. aoxomoxoa coreykite@aol.com = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = Date: Fri, 21 Jul 1995 03:30:52 -1000 From: sc5@prism.gatech.edu (SPC) Message-Id: <3uoa6c$nnd@acmex.gatech.edu> Organization: Georgia Institute of Technology Subject: Re: AKA Founder In article <3um77f$6it@newsbf02.news.aol.com>, Coreykite wrote: It would be most helpful to post Bob's address (for cards & letters) and phone number.
