The commercial has a 3-4 second spot where it shows a family at a picnic on a field and a sport kite comes in and hits the father of the group in the head. What can be done to prevent this kind of advertisement. What would cause an insurance company to get an idea to use a kite in a commercial. Does anyone know what type of kite was used in the commercial? = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = Date: Thu, 4 Jan 1996 16:00:45 -1000 From: navarrol@netcom.com (Larry Navarro) Message-Id: Organization: NETCOM On-line Communication Services (408 261-4700 guest) Subject: Re: AFLAIC TV Commercial What is AFLAIC? No, I haven't seen this commercial but will keep an eye out for it. >What can be done to prevent this kind of advertisement. About the only thing we can do is start a letter writing campaign to the insurance company and the ad adjency protesting this type of ad. Can somebody get the addresses? Perhaps they have e-mail and we can massively e-mail them our protests. >What would >cause an insurance company to get an idea to use a kite in a >commercial. About the only thing I can think of is that somebody either in AFLAIC or their ad adjency had a similar experience. Maybe they had a claim based upon a similar experience. >Does anyone know what type of kite was used in the commercial? Nope.
