There are probably a number of rec.kiters (mailing list and otherwise) who don't know what other newsgroups would be a good source of such information (includes me) ... and while I think it's nice for kite flyers to help kite flyers, I don't think the General FAQ is the place to store the info. However, if someone is willing to compile *and* maintain a list of sources, I will, depending on sentiment of group (a) add info to the FAQ or (b) put a pointer to the file in the FAQ. Under Anne's Rule of Frequently Asked Questions, it's not a FAQ unless it's been asked at least 3 times in 6 months ... and I'm not sure this qualifies ;-).
