Welcome, Karen to rec.kites. I ddn't even get as far as the kite store
before getting hooked. I was watching a gentleman fly a skynasaur aerobat
with his son. I went to ask him what it was, I'd never seen stunt kites
before, and he said "want to give it a try?" Well, I ended up buying an
F-24 before the week-end was over. My wife, my 10 year old son and my-self
spent the next few months bashing that poor kite and the the aerobat that
followed it into the ground and off several trees. Then I saw the same man
flying a Hawaiian Team Kite. You've got it, he said, "Want to give it a
try?" again. I've been hooked ever since. I fly a team kite now and my son
flies a spin-off. But those Rev's are looking better every day.

Karen, Greetings!  Good to have your company in this
usually pleasant place. As you may well know there are
people who *surf the net* with little more to do than
find places to inject their venom, then sit back and
count how many gigabytes (not to mention dollars) are
used to try and heal it.
