(1-800-827-6364) Subject: A retailers cry for help! Annoucement: I am assembling my 95 cataogue and thought it would be great to have your imput. Just call or e-mail me with suggestions on new product or anything else you would like to see different from me this year. Like the past 2 years, my catalogue will be full of helpful info, as always, a limited selection of the best! Too much is confusing! I already have many hours in flying/researching/ and testing, and have a good idea of what I want, but I thought it would be novel to get more of your input this year. your suggestions are welcome and very important to me! Any of you hackers near me that would like to lend a hand (or computer skills), please call me. I want to graduate from line drawings to pictures (imagine that). Annoucement: Recently a kite shop near me closed(as a lot of new ones do). At one time I am sad to say I would not have been sad. Now I am. Reason, because I realize that now, less people will be exposed to kiting. I have added wholesale to my business and wish to lend my expertise and product knowledge to other shops as well. Maybe this will help a little. I will be at the 95 trade show. Retailers are invited to visit me. Maybe you can learn from my mistakes. Disclaimer. I don't have one. I am only asking for help and offering it too! I wish all of you a safe and happy new year! Ok. Here's my thoughts... I'd like to see it available by Email and by FTP. Don't *post* it, but a line in your signature saying "Dod's wonderful kite catalogue available by Email on request" would be perfectly acceptable. It would be outside of the NFS-net acceptable use policy for it to be stored for FTP at Hawaii, maybe we'll be able to improve on that this year... I'm going to mention just one product, which you might have missed and *should* be there - the "Second Wind" single-line stunt kite. I believe my trouble is in the line that I'm using. The line that I purchased when I bought the kite is 50#, came on a plastic halo winder and is pretty thick (not sure what type it is). Can you recommend a good line for this kite. Thanks, Eric --------------------------------------------------------------------------- He who dies with the most kites wins! Eric D. I would suggest the same sort of wind that you would fly a fighter in.
