Subject: A Night Flight at Ocean Shores

The stars came down to dance in the surf at the North Jetty last night.
I danced with them.
I Two-stepped beneath the faint star just above the jetty
and slam-danced up to jitterbug with the birghtest star in the sky.
I tickled the belly of the Milkyway, and the Ocean laughed with us.
I danced with every star in the Southern sky
Until the pull on the lines made my fingers numb and my favorite stars
moved beyond the wind.
I landed near the surf
I thanked the universe.....
