Hi all, some time ago ( maybe months ago ;-) I told you about "a bad sky dart" that doesn't want to turn. It was a modified design. The answers ranged from "trow it away, it will never fly" to "move the pick point down" I try a lot of bridle adjustment with no success. But finaly the answer came from a snail mail lettre of Esben Colstrup (sorry Esben if I mess your family name). Esben uses a longer main bridle. With his bridle the kite was not yet ok but I could move the clip down and now the kite flies. OK I just can't try to stall it (snap stall) or I lose the control of the kite, but it now is what it was ment to be : a kite I can put in beginers hands in case someone ask me to try a kite. Thanks for your help and good winds. Philippe. PS. With the original bridle, when you hold the kite by the pick points over your head and move the clip down the kite had a tendency to fall nose first, and not tail first. Can't see why. -- Philippe Lepez (CP 125), | | Good kite Universite Libre de Bruxelles, | Email: plepez@ulb.ac.be | + Good wind 50 av.
