Usually, if it is going to be a wet spring it begins in early February. This year the Austin Kite Festival stands to be a dry one. In the past this event has had great weather but I think this year the weather will be wonderful. This event usually attracts the most spectators per hour than any festival in this region. There are usually anywere between 10,000 to 20,000 spectators during this 4 hour kite festival and as many kites. The kiters usually arrive early to stake out a spot near the competition field. Throughout the day kites are everywhere. The trees near the river begin to fill with the remains of lost cut out of the sky kites. By the end of the day the trees are filled with all different colors of kites left behind. -- *************>>>>>>>>>>>>>MR.NASTY<<<<<<<<<<<<<************** Fiesta Kite Ideas http://www.tmn.com/kiteweb/home.htm 8302 Tiguex Mr.Nasty@ix.netcom.com Universal City, TX 78148 (210) 659-1803 or (512) 326-6221 ******************************************************************* = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =
