Date: Fri, 12 Apr 1996 00:59:18 -1000 Organization: ICL, Bracknell, UK Message-ID: <4kld26$b6v@eccles.dsbc.icl.co.uk> I think I'm a little confused about the Mynergy 333 and other *ergy kites. My "local" kite store has just received a Mynergy 333, and says that it is about a foot across, and comes with two foot of line. Obviously an indoor kite :-) However, he doesn't think that it will do much besides simply fly. There is mention of a Synergy 333, which has something around 30 foot of line (10 metres to all you metricophiles) and is about 2 foot across, but we haven't seen one. It sounds more capable. I thought Dodd had posted recently saying that he'd flown a *ergy 333, in fact flown two together, and liked them. I don't think he could have meant the Mynergy, based on its description. Has anyone any clues they could lend me? Which kite does what? Which one do I want to fly? -- _____ ceci n'est ____ _ pas une _ _ email (__ __) o ______ ( __)( )_ ___ ___ _( )_( )_ ___ ______ (____) (_)(_)()(_) (____)(_)_)(__=)(__=) (_)_(_)_)(___)_(_)()(_) www.guernsey.net/~jim +44 1344 472537 = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = From: "George W. Jim, I'm not sure what your question is. The "333" comes in two sizes: the full "Synergy" version is at least 2 ft. across; the small "Minergy" version is less than a foot. Both are three line kites, both can be flown outdoors, however the Minergy is designed for low/no wind. Like the Deca series, the main difference between the Synergy and Minergy is size (and, of course, performance). I'm not sure which ones Dodd was talking about, but you could fly a pair of either 333 quite nicely. Cheers, George -- *********************************************************** George W.
