It just missed a couple of seinors at a park bench where I surly would have been on at 6:00 if that happened. = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = From: pat@cs.strath.ac.uk (Patrick Prosser) Subject: Re: 24 ft. Ouch! That is one of the reasons I prefer soft kites. I'd rather be hit by 100sq ft of parafoil, than 24ft of metal tubing. Which raises a question ... Insurance, where can we get insurance, public liability, and how much would it cost? As you noticed, Steve mentioned the insurance in "AKA recruitment" posting. He is now checking if it really is worldwide. Not much use for you or me, if it's US only. I know, STACK tried to get worldwide insurance, but only managed to negotiate it to cover UK. Might interest you? I remember the cost was only 2 GBP/year. Can't remember the sums. The insurance companies seems to keep kite flying pretty safe sport - so far:-) Smooth Winds Simo Salanne = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =
