Not a traction kite!! ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Well, not _usually_.. However when the winds are blowing 25+ mph on the dry lake, it makes a pretty nice buggy engine.. Almost _any_ kite can provide traction if there's enough wind.. I once buggied behind a Rev II, (in about 18 mph wind) just to prove a point.. :-) -- Dan Rubesh GO Wind Wizard windwiz@west.net FLY A P.O. I once buggied behind a Rev II, >(in about 18 mph wind) just to prove a point.. :-) Yes, I will have to agree that in high winds, there is certainly some decent pull. Probably enough to do some buggying, but I don't really class this as a traction kite. It just doesn't compare to the Quadifoils or Skytigers. This would probably make a nice power engine for roller blades, though. I once buggied behind a Rev II, >(in about 18 mph wind) just to prove a point.. :-) The other weekend I buggied with a friend's 4ft soft parafoil (can't remember what it is called at the moment - something like the flexi hot- shot without spars). Needless to say the winds were humming and I had to put my 3m^2 quad away before my arms got any longer !! :-O > ---------------------------------- | PAUL CHANDLER - York Kite Flyers | | Paul@FreeWind.demon.co.uk | ---------------------------------- = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =
