                Wise Sayings About Guidance

Often you hear the quote "The Lord helps those who help themselves", and
most people assume this is from the Bible.  It's not.

The third chapter of Proverbs contains the foundation philosophy of making
our way through this life:

        "Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
        and lean not unto your own understanding.
        In all your ways acknowledge Him,
        And He shall direct your paths.

        Do not be wise in your own eyes,
        Fear the Lord and depart from evil.
        It shall be health to your flesh,
        And strength to your bones."

                        - Prov. 3:5-7.
