It was somewhat of a shock, when, in 1976, it was revealed that James Tiptree, Jr. was (gasp) a woman. Personally, I've enjoyed what little work I've read ("The Girl Who Was Plugged In", "Houston, Houston, Do You Read?" & "Love Is the Plan, the Plan is Death"), but I've never felt compelled to seek out any more. So how's the rest of her work?
