Two-lobed with a dark (black) area between the two parts. The southern part is slightly fainter. It surrounds two mag. 11 stars. The nebulosity is quite well defined and only slightly brighter near the stars. The N part is bigger, the diameter being about 3'. The southern edge is quite sharp while the other sides are diffuse. This part includes 3 stars: 2 bright (11m) and one much fainter (13m). A faint dust lane seems to cut through the N part of the neby.
