Weather: 3/4 Moon low W. Cold. Maybe some aurora glow. 

Brightness: 4           Alt: 60°
Description: A small (4') asterism. 10 stars, the brightest one
on the W edge. L-shaped. The brightest star has a faint
companion 30'' NNW. 

The second asterism mentioned by Ling in "The Nonex Cl's of
RNGC" was also easily seen: a ring of 20 stars to the NW of NGC
272.
