DRBD is a block device which is designed to build high availability

dedicated) network. You could see it as a network raid-1.

This package contains the drbd 8.3.7 kernel modules for the Linux kernel package:

kernel-module-drbd-2.6.18-194.8.1.el5-8.3.7-1.sl5.x86_64 [987 KiB] Changelog by Troy Dawson (2010-04-12):
- Update to 8.3.7
- Separated the kernel module out to a separate rpm
This is because the driver is now in the generic kernel
- Combined spec files from atrpms and normal SL kernel module specs
