GAMMA: A Magnetic Resonance Simulation Library in C++ Tilo Levante, Scott Smith, Beat H. Meier, R.R. Ernst Laboratorium fuer Physikalische Chemie, Eidgenoessische Technische Hochschule, 8092 Zuerich, Switzerland An object oriented package for magnetic resonance simulation by numerical density matrix calculation is presented. The definition of complex data types like matrices, operators or spin systems and appropriate mathematical operations on them allows the user to write the code for his particular simulation program in a very natural way, closely related to the abstract formalism used for the theoretical description. The simulation environment is fully user expandable. The library is currently available under the GPL license on hertz.ethz.ch.
